Surrounded mostly by grass/bogland and heather, Lough Salt is a mountain lake which measures approximately 1.6km long and 0.4km at it’s widest. From the lough you can see much of the beautiful landscape of County Donegal including the Derryveagh and Bluestack Mountains.
