The remains of the railway viaduct stretch out across the valley in isolation, with no other man made structure for miles around.
Owencarrow Railway Viaduct
Located near Creeslough, the Owencarrow Railway Viaduct on the Burtonport Extension of the Londonderry and Lough Swilly Railway was the largest engineering structure anywhere on the narrow gauge railway in Ireland. The remains of the structure are still visible despite the railway closure in 1947.
