Glenveagh National Park is made up of bogland, woodland and upland areas. Oakwood covers over 100 acres of the park, with a wooded gorge and many types of tree/vegetation dating from the last several hundred years. The park boosts the largest intact wilderness area of a 30km walk without any human infrastructure.
