Ards Forest 4 Ards Friary Beach
The stunning Ards Forest Park is situated on the N56, between Creeslough and Dunfanaghy, adjacent to the Ards Friary, a centre for spiritual programmes. Shown here is the Lucky Shell beach which visitors avail of as a location for quiet reflection.
Ards Forest Park covers approximately 1200 acres and has a variety of habitats including sand dunes, beaches, salt water lakes and woodland. The park is one of a small number of areas in Ireland where the forest is on the edge of the sea, providing spectacular views of land and sea.
