Lough Eske Castle 2

Built in the Elizabethan style, all the ornamental stonework for the castle came from Monaghan’s Quarry in Drimkeelan near Frosses.

Lough Eske Castle

On the shores of Lough Eske, within 43 acres of woodland and a backdrop of the Blue Stack Mountains, the Lough Eske Castle is a truly stunning location. The castle was originally built in 1861 and is now established as part of a hotel. The castle has been lovingly and authentically restored with much attention paid to the smallest and finest of details.
