The woodland at Glenveagh is rich and varied along with many types of flora and flauna, including many water features such as the one shown here in this photograph.
Glenveagh National Park is made up of bogland, woodland and upland areas. Oakwood covers over 100 acres of the park, with a wooded gorge and many types of tree/vegetation dating from the last several hundred years. The park boosts the largest intact wilderness area of a 30km walk without any human infrastructure.
